Sometimes life changes in just a few moments, What starts as a normal trip can suddenly turn into something you never expected. That’s exactly what happened to Dr. Umesh Bhammarkar, an eye specialist from Hyderabad. He loves traveling and had already visited 22 countries. This trip to Kuwait was supposed to be his 23rd just a quick visit nothing complicated But things didn’t go the way he planned.

Everything Changed in an Hour

Dr. Bhammarkar landed in Kuwait on February 28, 2026. His return flight was scheduled for the very next day. It was supposed to be a short and easy trip.

But within an hour of leaving the airport everything changed. There were sudden reports of unrest and attacks in the city. Soon after flights were cancelled, airports were shut down and the airspace was closed. People were confused and scared. No one knew what would happen next.Just like that he was stuck in a foreign country.

Waiting Without Answers

The journey took around 26 hours mostly by bus.It was exhausting and temperature was intense, food and water were limited and there was constant stress. Crossing borders during such a tense situation added more pressure. It wasn’t just physically difficult, it was mentally draining too.But they kept going.
