Expansion of the National Forensic Sciences University: A Major Boost to India’s Criminal Justice System
The Ministry of Home Affairs has approved 14 new campuses for the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) across states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Rajasthan. This expansion aims to strengthen India’s forensic infrastructure, reduce case backlogs, and train experts in forensic science, digital forensics, and cyber law. Many campuses will begin from transit facilities for faster rollout.
