Security Guards Assault MBBS Student in Muzaffarnagar Medical College, Uttar Pradesh over Parking Dispute

An MBBS student was allegedly chased and brutally beaten by security guards at Muzaffarnagar Medical College, Begrajpur, Uttar Pradesh, after a parking dispute. Students protested demanding suspension of guards and FIR registration. The incident has raised serious concerns over campus safety and accountability.

Parking Dispute Turns Violent Inside Medical College
A serious incident of alleged assault on a medical student has surfaced from Muzaffarnagar’s Begrajpur Medical College in Uttar Pradesh, where security guards reportedly chased and brutally beat an MBBS student following an argument over bike parking.

Argument Over Bike Entry Escalates Quickly
According to reports, the incident occurred on Friday when MBBS student Deepanshu Saini arrived at the college on his motorcycle. A security guard stopped him from taking the bike inside the campus, leading to a heated argument. Within minutes, several guards allegedly gathered and began verbally abusing and pushing the student.

Student Allegedly Assaulted With Belts, Sticks and Kicks
The situation quickly escalated. Eyewitness accounts claim that multiple guards assaulted the student with kicks and punches, and later used belts, sticks and even a wiper to beat him. He was allegedly dragged into the guard room where his head was slammed against a wall. When the student collapsed, guards reportedly continued kicking him in the chest and face.

Video Surfaces; Students Stage Immediate Protest
Hearing the commotion, other students rushed from the hostel and gathered at the spot. Following the incident, medical students staged a protest on campus demanding immediate suspension of the guards involved and registration of an FIR against them. The video of the incident surfaced on Saturday, intensifying outrage among students.

Police Intervention and Assurance of FIR
Police from Mansurpur police station reached the college after being informed and pacified the protesting students. On Saturday, students again gathered at the college gate and continued their protest until police assured them that an FIR would be registered against the accused guards. The protest was later called off following this assurance.

Students Allege Management Inaction and Corruption
Student Shubham Pathak alleged that members of the college management were present during the assault but did not intervene. He stated that security personnel are responsible for ensuring student safety, not engaging in misconduct or violence. He further alleged that some guards posted at the college allow vehicle entry in exchange for bribes.

Serious Questions Raised Over Campus Safety
The incident has raised serious concerns about campus safety, administrative accountability and the conduct of private security personnel in medical institutions. Authorities are expected to take further action following the registration of the case.
