Faculty Vacancies Across AIIMS Institutions in India Raise Serious Concerns: Over 34% Faculty Posts Vacant at AIIMS Delhi

AIIMS institutions across India are facing major staffing shortages. AIIMS Delhi alone has 446 vacant faculty posts out of 1306 sanctioned positions, with 2542 non faculty posts also unfilled. Newer institutes show even higher vacancy rates, including AIIMS Mangalagiri with about 52% faculty posts vacant, AIIMS Deoghar nearly 50%, AIIMS Rajkot around 48% and AIIMS Bibinagar about 45%.
